/24-7PressRelease/ - San Antonio, TX, July 10, 2008, Priscilla Ramirez Lurz, Coordinator of Gifted Education Enrichment Programs in the Northside Independent School District has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of gifted and talented education.
Ms. Lurz has more than 28 years of professional experience. She specializes in teaching gifted and talented students, and is responsible for assessing students, coordinating special events adhering to state curriculum and instruction. She attributes her success to the support she receives from her mentors.
Ms. Lurz earned her Master of Arts in Education, with a concentration in psychology and gifted education, from the University of Connecticut in 1993 and her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 1979. She has received the Region XX GT Advocate of the Year Award, and is affiliated with the Alamo Area Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development and the National Association for Gifted Children.
