With two years of experience in human resources, Ms. Schwartz has been in her current position at Willow Park Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for one year. As human resources director, she is responsible for overseeing insurance programs, counseling, maintaining records and working with employees.

Prior to joining Willow Park Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Ms. Schwartz worked as a domestic violence counselor. She has dedicated herself to working one-on-one with employees to ensure better working conditions and relationships. Continuing to grow in knowledge and helping people are her main goals, and she considers her return to the work force after having a family to be her greatest achievement. Ms. Schwartz stays current with the trends in her profession by attending lectures and conventions and reading trade publications. She feels that the most important issues facing the human resources industry is employee turnover and rising health insurance costs.

Ms. Schwartz received her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Touro College and has also completed coursework in counseling. In the future, she hopes to continue to work in urban areas. She attributes her success to her communication skills and her love for her profession.
