As a licensed massage therapist for the United States Tennis Association, Mr. Buchiarelli specializes in combining Sport and Medical Massage with Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupressure, Shiatsu and Thai Massage techniques, and is responsible for performing massage therapy for the players and coaches at various sport venues. He previously worked as a massage therapist at a high school and at a massage therapy center in Los Angeles. He has also taught massage, anatomy and physiology, and business practices relevant to a career in massage therapy. He has published articles called 'Acupressure in High School Sports Medicine,' in Acupressure News Quarterly and 'Pooh's Corner' in T'ai Chi. Mr. Buchiarelli considers working with the United States Tennis Association to be his greatest professional accomplishment. He stays current with the trends in his profession by attending conferences and reading professional articles. Mr. Buchiarelli has also traveled extensively in China to study Chinese Traditional Medical and Massage techniques. He has been a pioneer in combining western and eastern therapies.

Mr. Buchiarelli, a licensed massage therapist in New York, earned his Bachelor of Arts with honors in Asian Studies from California State University in 1985. Working on his Master's Degree, he was selected to be a CSULB exchange student/teacher to Taiwan, where he lived for two years. He specialized in Chinese language studies, as well as Taoist and Buddhist medical traditions. He also graduated with honors from Fullerton College, with an Associate of Arts in Liberal Studies, a minor in athletic training and Chinese language studies in 1978, and holds a Diploma in Massage Therapy, Shiatsu and Allied Health Arts from the Swedish Institute in New York City. Mr. Buchiarelli is affiliated with the American Massage Therapy Association, the People to People Citizen Ambassador Program, and Sigma Pi International Fraternity.
