Ms. Shuhart has 10 years of experience in social services supervision and two years of experience as a social services administrator for the state of Delaware. Ms. Shuhart is an expert in writing, reviewing and analyzing policies for Medicaid. Prior to joining the state of Delaware, Ms. Shuhart worked as a social worker and case manager in the foster care field.

She attributes her success to her hard work and diligence. Ms. Shuhart considers her greatest professional accomplishment her graduation from the first mentoring and leadership development program at DSS and being a graduate of the governor's management fellows program.

Ms. Shuhart completed her Master's of Public Administration from the University of Phoenix and received a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Social Work from Immaculate College.
