With more than nine years of professional experience in education, Ms. Benoit is responsible for teaching all subjects to students with learning disabilities and assisting students with special needs. She became involved in her profession because of her interest in teaching and the inspiration of her grandmother, who was a teacher. She considers graduating from Benedictine University with a grade point average of 4.0 to be the highlight of her career and attributes her success to her desire for learning and self-improvement skills.
Ms. Benoit received her Master of Education in Reading and Literature in 2007 and her Master of Arts in Teaching from Rhode Island College in 1991. She was recognized by Who's Who Among American Teachers and is a member of the American Federation of Teachers and Kappa Delta Pi.
