/24-7PressRelease/ - Palo Alto, CA, September 4, 2008, Leonard Tedds, Senior Engineer (Retired) at National Semiconductor Corporation, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of engineering.
Mr. Tedds has an impressive background of more than 48 years in his profession. He specializes in determining the condition of the mechanical equipment and is responsible for designing and building equipment, and overseeing the semiconductor systems. Mr. Tedds served in the British and Canadian Navy for 24 years. He became involved in his profession because of his interest in technology, and attributes his success to his hard work.
In September of 1943, Mr. Tedds received an award from H.M. king George VI for distinguished service. The citation reads, "His Majesty sends his highest appreciation." The award was for service in H.M.S. "Sirius." In this event, he also received a commendation from the Prime Minister and President of Malta.
