/24-7PressRelease/ - Glendora, CA, September 6, 2008, Mary Martha Dave, Teacher at Foothill Christian Preschool, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of education and authorship.

With more than 20 years teaching experience, Ms. Dave specializes in developing curriculum and authoring children's books. At her current post, she is primarily and solely responsible for planning lessons for children under the age of three. She was prompted to enter into teaching because she enjoys working with children and credits her success to her perseverance and leadership skills. The most rewarding aspect of her career is having the ability to adequately prepare her students to move forward into the next phase of their education.

Ms. Dave has written 28 books, the majority of which are reading and teaching aides. These books help parents, even those with limited English and whom are unable to read, to work with their children to gain familial literacy. Three of her books are being used in classrooms to teach English as a second language. Recently, her book entitled "Underwater Rainbow" was published by Sally the Cat Publishing. Ms. Dave is looking forward to having an additional 27 books published. Her dream is for all families to acquire the gift of literacy.

Certified in Child Development through California State University, Long Beach, Ms. Dave received a diploma in Writing for Children and Teenagers from the Institute of Children's Literature, Connecticut. She is a supporter of the Young Men's Christian Association and the Girl Scouts of the United States of America.
