/24-7PressRelease/ - Las Vegas, NV, September 17, 2008, Gwen Duhon, Owner and Operator of Hair N Motion, will be included as a lifetime member in the 2008-2009 edition of the Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry for excellence in cosmetology.

Proud to be a successful black woman, Ms. Duhon has enjoyed a distinguished career in cosmetology that has spanned the last 18 years. In the course of her work, she has trained under some of her industry's most illustrious names and has acquired a mastery of black hair care, an art form the practice of which requires, not merely a cosmetology license, but true talent, creativity and dedication. As the head of Hair N Motion, she is in charge of managing operations and overseeing services such as hairstyling, waxing, manicuring and beauty consulting. Because of her professionalism and know-how, Ms. Duhon often receives requests from clients to have their hair personally styled by her. She finds deep personal satisfaction in being in the miniscule percentage of cosmetology students who go on to support themselves doing what they love. She attributes her success to being honest, believing in herself, and respecting and caring for her clients. Her future plans for Hair N Motion include adding an online dating service catering to professional African-American women.

In addition to her work with Hair N Motion, Ms. Duhon is a technical consultant for Avlon Industries, a manufacturer specializing in black hair care products. She has also traveled all over the United States to train cosmetology students and licensed professionals alike on the art of ethnic hair care and is currently working on a textbook intended to serve as a guide for new beauticians just coming out of schools. She is also an active member and contributor to the New Bethel Baptist Church.
