With 27 years of professional experience Lt. Col. Agar utilizes his superior leadership skills and organizational prowess to fully prepare and support through research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition management, training and logistical support those forces tasked with providing global mobility support to this nation's war fighters. He is responsible for the oversight of more than 1,250 combat ready logistical support personnel and millions of dollars in highly specialized equipment in direct support to Air Mobility Command's global logistics pipeline. Lt. Col. Agar accomplishes this by identifying requirements, establishing policy and procedures, constructing training curriculum, evaluating quality and managing objectives for the many programs for which he is responsible. He is the recipient of the Bronze Star for Valor and believes he owes his success to a natural ability to rapidly make quick, accurate decisions on his feet, and an unwavering dedication to the people he works with and the country he protects.

Lt. Col. Agar received his Master of Science in Education Degree from the State University of New York at Albany in 1980 and his Bachelor of Science in Education Degree from the State University of New York at Cortland in 1977. He holds an Aeronautical Rating as an Air Force Master Navigator.
