Brenda Herzog Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Addiction Counseling

    FORT SASKATCHEWAN, AB, CANADA, September 30, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Brenda Herzog, Counselor, Life Coach and Addiction Rehabilitation Specialist at Alberta Counselling and Drug Addiction Services, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in her career.

A compassionate and dedicated professional, Ms. Herzog has been helping people with drug addiction, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and lack of confidence for 11 years. She also offers placement assistance to drug rehabilitation centers. Ms. Herzog believes that she was destined to work in the counseling field, because she has always been the person to whom family and friends turn to when they are in need of help or advice about any type of issue. It seemed natural for her to attain her education and become a professional in a field she is so passionate about. The highlight of her career was when one of her clients had been through the Turning Point Detoxification program and thanked Ms. Herzog for saving his life.

Ms. Herzog received a Bachelor of Psychology from Athabasca University in 2001, having previously earned a Bachelor of Science in substance abuse and addiction counseling and an associate degree in life coaching. She also holds a diploma in child psychology, adult psychology and counseling. She is a Master Life Coach and a Master NLP practitioner, as well as a member of the Canadian Centre on Substance Abuse and VPA. In five years, Ms. Herzog hopes to continue helping as many people as she can through counseling and substance abuse treatment.
