Christopher Flach's Solo Exhibition of Paintings @ the 10th Annual Cesis Art Festival Latvia

Supported by the Latvian Ministry of Culture, "Portaits of the Past - a Future Landscape" is a series of six large scale paintings installed at the 10th Annual Cesis Art Festival in Latvia.

Christopher was born in New York City, he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts, from Marietta College and a PhD in Psychology from Saybrook Institute in San Francisco, California. After co-founding Martha Angus Inc. and Angus Caravelli Inc., he relocated to New York City. Christopher currently works as an artist between the European Union and the United States.

As an Artist, Christopher's work has been exhibited in galleries, and museums, including 2016 the Nippon Gallery 16th Tokyo-New York Friendship Ceramic Competition.

In 2015 his painting series "Forward Man" a series of six large scale paintings was Sponsored by the Latvian Ministry of Culture, 9th Annual Cesis Art Festival in Latvia. Also his work was sold at auction to support The Design Trust for Public sapces, an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to the future of public space in New York City. Crhristopher was a participant in the Luhring Augustine's Manhattan Gallery exhibition "Postcards From the Edge," the Kips Bay Decorator showcase, which raises funds to enrich and enhance the quality of life for young people in New York City, and Design on a Dime fundraiser which sustains Housing Works' lifesaving services, raising more than $7 million in support of program initiatives.

In 2014, he participated in several collaborative exhibitions including, the San Francisco Camera works "Up all Night" exhibition and the 15th Tokyo-New York Friendship Ceramic Competition.

In 2013, he participated in several group shows, including a one night, Pop-Up exhibition "Creative Mischief" at National Academy Museum of Art in New York City and a group exhibition at Cheim & Read Gallery. His artwork was published in The New York Times and sold at Christie's Auction House.
