SEOUL, REPUBLIC OF KOREA, October 25, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Chung-Ku Noh has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

The human brain is a famously complicated organ, and specialists like Dr. Noh have to know its physical structure as well as how to discern the effects of illness on a person's behavior. As a physician, research neurologist and educational psychologist, Dr. Noh addresses problems with the brain on three related fronts, and has published papers on tic disorder, ADHD, emotional disturbance, learning disability, and developmental disability. He simultaneously serves as head of the Brainwoom Medical Center, senior researcher of the Brainwoom Research Institute, and founder of the Brainwoom Corporation.

Dr. Noh was born in Republic of Korea, and earned a PhD from the graduate school of east-west medical science at Kyung Hee University. His doctoral thesis was "Alpha-Asarone Ameliorates Memory Deficit in Lipopolysaccharide-Treated Mice via Suppression of Pro-Inflammatory Cytokines and Microglial Activation," published in Biomolecules and Therapeutics in 2004. In short, Dr. Noh was able to derive a chemical from Acorus gramineus, commonly known as Japanese sweet flag or dwarf sedge, to improve learning and memory in laboratory rats suffering from cerebral hypoperfusion. The symptom is associated with Alzheimer's disease and the clinical onset of dementia. Commonly, the symptom restricts blood to parts of the brain, and has been linked to a suite of nervous and psychological conditions, particularly a loss of cognitive skills. Dr. Noh's research holds the promise to ameliorate some disabilities or illnesses that are caused by similar conditions.

Dr. Noh was selected for the listings of the 40 Noted Doctors in the tic disorder, ADHD and developmental disability field in Republic of Korea in 2016, as well as 2015 New Intellectual of Korea by WeeklyPeople.net. In addition, Dr. Noh is the recipient of 2016 and 2017 First Grade Certificates in Evaluation on Medical Consumer Satisfaction by the Korea Consumer Agency. Dr. Noh was also chosen as the translator of "Cranial osteopathic biomechanics, pathomechanics and diagnostics" for Alain Gehin in 2010.
