Delphi Academy of Boston Receive High Honors

Delphi Academy of Boston provide students with proficiency-based curriculum to ensure they move forward through further education with a solid understanding of each topic.

MILTON, MA, January 04, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Great news! Three students from our 2017 graduating class received high honors for their academic achievement. Fall term went great for these students and we hope their success continues to build. Congratulations to Malik (Stony Brook School), Layla (Thayer Academy) & Korey (Boston College High School).

The Delphi Academy of Boston uses a proficiency based learning curriculum. Proficiency-based learning refers to systems of instruction, assessment, grading, and academic reporting that are based on students demonstrating that they have learned the knowledge and skills they are expected to learn as they progress through their education. This ensures that students have a solid understanding of each topic before taking on more information. At Delphi students are put in the driver's seat of their learning. With identified barriers to studying, lack of mass, the skipped gradient and the misunderstood word, students are able to use methods to overcome these barriers. With these methods, Delphi students learn how to recognize when they don't understand something and what to do about it.

Even our youngest of students are exposed to basic concepts of science, history and various humanities. In additional to traditional school subjects, students get to practice their communication manners, technology, nutrition and organization. Ethics, logic and research, often considered advanced topics, are not only offered but are begun early on.

Delphi Academy of Boston does their best to ensure that students enjoy and understand each topic they learn. By eliminating barriers to learning students continue to impress teachers and higher education professors with their knowledge.

Delphi Academy of Boston is an independent, coeducational, non-sectarian day school offering a preschool through eighth grade program. Academics focus on providing students with a solid grounding in the basics, a rich and challenging hands-on curriculum and the ability to study purposefully and independently. Children may enroll as early as two years and nine months in the preschool program. To find out more visit http://www.delphiboston.org/.
