Dr. Jakob Lothe Celebrated by Marquis Who's Who for Successful Career in Literature

Dr. Lothe is noted for his work as an author and a faculty member at Norway's University of Oslo



    OSLO, NORWAY, March 30, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Jakob Lothe has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Dr. Lothe has been recognized for his passion for literature, which can be seen throughout his work as an educator. He presently teaches English literature at the University of Oslo in Norway. Since 1993, he has been a professor at the University. In the past, he has served as an associate professor of comparative literature at the University of Bergen, a position he held from 1987 to 1992. In order to prepare for his prestigious career as an educator, Dr. Lothe earned a Master of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara, as well as a Bachelor of Arts and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Bergen.

In addition to his work with the University of Oslo, Dr. Lothe has authored several works. These include "Narrative in Fiction and Film: An Introduction," "Conrad's Narrative Method," and "Etikk i litteratur og film." Dr. Lothe has also been an editor for "The Art of Brevity: Excursions in Short Fiction Theory and Analysis," "Literary Landscapes: From Modernism to Postcolonialism," "Joseph Conrad: Voice, Sequence, History, Genre," "Franz Kafka: Narration, Rhetoric, and Reading," "After Testimony: The Ethics and Aesthetics of Holocaust Narrative for the Future," "Narrative Ethics," and "Time's Witnesses: Women's Voices from the Holocaust." Due to demonstrated excellence in his field, Dr. Lothe received a grant from the Centre for Advanced Study of The Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters. Additionally, he has been featured in Who's Who in the World.

Dr. Lothe participates in other activities outside of his role as an English literature professor. He is the leader for the committee on human rights of The Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters. Considering the nature of his impressive work in the field, Dr. Lothe has set a foundation for future inspiring achievements.
