SAN DIEGO, CA, February 2, 2017, Dr. Lucille Burbank, Author and Consultant under Burbank's Paragon Communication, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in consulting.

Worldwide Branding is proud to endorse the recent, notable professional efforts and accomplishments of Dr. Burbank. A member in good standing, Lucille Burbank parlays years of experience into her professional network. She has been noted for her achievements and leadership abilities, thus receiving additional credentials from Worldwide Branding.

Lucille Burbank has worked in educational media & technology as a consultant for a variety of companies, including the Sesame Workshop, NASA, and the New Jersey Department of Civil Service. As a consultant, Dr. Burbank takes great pride in being a self-motivated individual able to work from home without supervision. Innovative from the start, Dr. Burbank was one of the first individuals to use holography in the classroom, and she has written a range of articles on educational media & technology. Additionally, she also wrote a grant proposal that provided a high degree of interactive learning experiences for special education students. She has taught media design and production courses at community colleges, and was a media coordinator for the Eastern Pennsylvania Regional Resource Center for Special Education. Having conducted numerous workshops and presentations at state and national conventions, Dr. Burbank is currently marketing two books: The first book titled, "Secrets From Sesame Street's Pioneers: How They Produced a Successful Television Series," came out in December 2013, and was advertised in the August 25, 2014 edition of Publishers Weekly. Her second book, released in August 2016 and intended for a nostalgic audience, is "The Inside Secrets of Sesame Street." This book, consisting of twenty-two photos, is in color and is specifically designed for readers who grew up with this iconic TV show.

To prepare for her career, Lucille Burbank started out in a two-year women's college, majoring in television. After graduating, she worked in her chosen field of educational media & technology: First as a media and materials specialist for the Mid-Atlantic Regional Special Education Instructional Materials Center in Washington, DC, and then as a media coordinator for the Eastern Pennsylvania Regional Resources Center for Special Education in King of Prussia, PA. During this time Burbank received a Bachelor of Science degree from Antioch College, and then she attended graduate classes at Temple University in Philadelphia, acquiring a Masters in Education. Because of her love for her field, she continued on to receive a doctorate from Temple University with the help of the Constance Dorothea Weinman Scholarship.

While Lucille Burbank was studying for her doctorate, she was also working as a consultant at the Sesame Workshop, creators of Sesame Street. There, she worked in research, mainly on formative and summative evaluation. Her work in formative evaluation entailed using computerized analyses to study the attention and comprehension of selected Sesame Street segments. In addition, she also introduced and implemented a qualitative research paradigm--that was more appropriate for some studies--in conjunction with the Workshop's quantitative evaluation. While working on summative evaluation, she created the "New Media Project," which involved researching preschoolers' processing of televised information.

During her continued consultancy at the Workshop, Lucille Burbank began her dissertation on children's television. Receiving the prestigious Constance Dorothea Weinman Scholarship enabled her to conduct a much larger study than she had originally intended. Therefore, she selected three prominent children's television series: Sesame Street, Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, and Captain Kangaroo. In-depth interviews were conducted with the creators, actors, directors, producers, puppeteers, researchers, and writers of these TV shows, and approved research questions were asked on their design, production and presentation.

Named one of the Top Female Executives, Professionals & Entrepreneurs by Worldwide Branding, Dr. Burbank is a member of The International Women's Leadership Association and a distinguished delegate. She was a presenter at the Association of Educational Communications and Technology, the International Communications Industries Association, the Pennsylvania Learning Resources Association, the International Visual Literacy Association, Inc., the Health Education Media Association, the Association for Indiana Media Educators, the NAVA Institutes for Effective Communications, the NAVA Institute for Professional Development, the Illinois Media Association, and the U.S.A.I.D. sponsored workshops in Washington, DC. In addition, she presented at the Indiana University Summer Media Conference, and was a valued participant at the Lake Okoboji Educational Media Leadership Conference.

Looking into the future, Dr. Burbank plans to market her books, continue consulting, and get students majoring in television involved in creating children's programs. She is presently writing a book for second graders.

Changing the lives of people, making the world a better place, and inspiring others to do good work remain Dr. Burbank's passions. You can find her books on Amazon or at Booklocker.com.

Worldwide Branding has added Lucille Burbank to their distinguished Registry of Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs. While inclusion in Worldwide Branding is an honor, only small selections of members in each discipline are endorsed and promoted as leaders in their professional fields.
