ARLINGTON, VA, October 15, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Malak Abedalthagafi, Resident Physician at Georgetown University Hospital, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in healthcare.
Dr. Abedalthagafi was driven to enter her profession through her desire to help people with congenital medical issues; her expertise is in molecular and women's pathology. At Georgetown University Hospital, she has completed a residency in pathology. In her position, she is responsible for attending to patients, organizing in-house presentations, and coordinating operation conferences for reviewing cases.
In 2005, Dr. Abedalthagafi graduated from King Abdulaziz University, located in Saudi Arabia. She is a member of the College of American Pathologists and the American Society for Clinical Pathology. She has had eight papers published in the library of the National Institutes of Health. In July of 2010, she was one of 14 people chosen to meet the king of Saudi Arabia. Dr. Abedalthagafi intends to further her education at the University of California, San Francisco.
