Edward S. Yambrusic Honored by Marquis Who's Who for Achievements in Law

Dr. Yambrusic celebrates more than 45 years of professional excellence

He is the author of "Peace at the Price of Justice and Human Dignity: Reflections on the Hague Tribunals and Judicialization of International Conflicts," a bilingual work (English-Croatian).

WASHINGTON, DC, January 20, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Edward S. Yambrusic has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

With more than four and a half decades of practiced legal experience, Dr. Yambrusic is uniquely positioned to oversee a wide range of tasks on behalf of AMCRO International Consulting, Inc., the National Ethnic Studies Assembly, the National Confederation of American Ethnic Groups, Inc., and his own private practice, where he focuses on international and immigration law, and intellectual property. He is proud of his longevity with the four entities, which he has served since 1995, 1976, 1970 and 1969, respectively. Before entering the field of professional capacity, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Duquesne University, pursued postgraduate studies at the Georgetown University Law Center, and earned a JD from the University of Baltimore and a certificate from The Hague Academy of International Law. After graduating and passing the Bar, Dr. Yambrusic opened his private practice and continued his employment with the Library of Congress, in the Office of the Register of Copyrights, as an attorney adviser. Subsequently, as a fellow with The Hague Academy of International Law, he earned his diploma from the Center for the Study and Research of International Law and International Relations. In addition to these roles, he also served with the Society of Federal Linguists, Croatian Fraternal Union of America, and Croatian Catholic Union of America.

As a U.S. Veteran (Captain U.S. Army), Dr. Yambrusic continued his post-graduate studies under the G.I. Bill assistance program at the Institute of International Law and International Relations of the Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C., earning, in 1984, a Ph.D. degree in Public International Law.

A member of the American, Maryland and International Bar Associations, as well as the American Society of International Law, Dr. Yambrusic has contributed to numerous creative works, including "Treaty Interpretation: Theory and Reality" published in 1987, "The Trade-Based Approaches to the Protection of Intellectual Property" published in 1990, and "Peace at the Price of Justice and Human Dignity: Reflections on the Hague Tribunals and Judicialization of International Conflicts," a bilingual work (English-Croatian), published in 2011. This book is the author's amicus curiae for the defense of truth, justice, and human dignity, indeed, a poignant nuance in the historiography of the Croatian people, whose eight-century struggle for liberty, self-determination, and political independence, has, finally, been realized at the ultimate price and sacrifice of those "known and unknown" heroes in the defense of the Fatherland against the Serbian aggression.

In recognition of his success, he earned a certificate for 40 years of distinguished public service to the people of the United States of America, which was issued by the Librarian of Congress. He has also had the honor of being named to Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law and Who's Who in the World. Looking toward the future, Dr. Yambrusic, with the support of his beloved wife Natalie, intends to experience continued growth and success.
