    CARLSBAD, CA, December 14, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- eGull, Inc., developer of the eGull Pay App, announces the release, in the United States, of its mobile application on iOS and Android platforms enabling golfers to Play and Pay by the Hole . eGull released its new website today, http://www.eGull.golf, and will officially launch at the 2018 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, FL January 24, 2018 (booth #579). eGull's innovative eGull Pay App gives golf course operators the opportunity to drive incremental revenue through a GPS based technology app that tracks how many holes a golfer has time to play and bill the player accordingly within the app.

"We're excited to introduce this new way to help golfers play on their own time," said Pascal Stolz, CEO, eGull, Inc. "For too long, golf was the only sport that if you had an hour to burn, your only option was the driving range. That's no longer the case. The eGull Pay App gives golfers the option to play just a few holes if they want and it gives golf courses the ability to grow revenues one hole at a time, without having to discount what is otherwise dead inventory. It's a win-win situation for both golfers and golf courses."

eGull Pay is a free software download for golf courses and a free app for golfers available in the App Store and on Google Play. Just like Uber or Lyft, eGull has developed a very sophisticated algorithm to precisely track the number of holes played, even if the golfer skips around. It's easy to use... You search for an available course, check in with the course for availability, play, and pay. When you exit the golf course, all you need to do is "check out" and your credit card is automatically charged for the number of holes played.

"The mission of eGull is to help grow participation in the game of golf," added Stolz. "Time and money seem to be the biggest constraints people have when it comes to playing golf and we feel we have created a solution with eGull Pay." A few of the many ways eGull Pay helps courses drive more rounds and revenues:
- Inclement weather in the forecast such as heat, rain or snow? Courses can switch to Play and Pay by the Hole and never have to issue "raincheck" refunds;
- Resort and convention courses can expand to offer busy executives the opportunity to sneak-in a few holes between sessions, before breakfast or dinner;
- Two hours before dusk, switch from heavily discounted tee times to Play and Pay by the Hole and get the full value of your course;
- Attract the 80% that only play occasionally due to time or cost constraints;
- Creatively bring busy golfers back to the course with an 18-hole tournament played over three weeks, six holes at a time on Wednesday at 4PM;
- And many more.

Similarly, there are many benefits for golfers such as:
- Players who don't have time to play 9 or 18 holes can play as many holes as they are able, being more likely to play if they can only commit to just the time they have available;
- Fill break hours with their favorite pastime on the way home from work with limited sunlight left, before picking up the kids from school or during their lunch hour;
- Golfers can test a new pricier course without breaking the bank;
- Beginners, millennials and youngsters who are not sure they can last 18.

eGull was introduced in Europe in 2017 and is currently available at 55 clubs in France, including Le Golf National, host of the 2018 Ryder Cup, and the number continues to grow.
"We've had a great response since our launch," said Olivier Dhotel, co-founder, Chairman and CEO, eGull, Europe. "We're seeing golfers who typically played 5 - 10 times a year now playing 2 - 3 times a month, playing an average of 7 holes in 1hr 15min, mainly after 4pm on both weekdays and weekends. Our partner clubs managed to generate incremental revenue from previously empty inventory and that is just a start since it's now winter, yet golf courses are able to keep the service going for those avid golfers who need their golf."

In the United States, eGull introduced the product at the Annual Meeting of the Southern California PGA Section. The section has signed on as a partner to promote and support this important initiative and encourage public access golf clubs to embrace the opportunity to grow participation in the game.

Tom Addis, CEO of the Southern California PGA Section added, "Golf is fun, but we face time and cost issues. To grow the game, we suggest to our professionals to try different experiences. It doesn't necessarily have to be playing 9 holes, but it can be a 60-minute on-the-course experience. eGull's innovative Play and Pay by the Hole eGull Pay App is creating flexibility and ingenuity allowing golf to better fit into the American modern lifestyle."
