President of Eileen Peretz Interiors (EPI), with offices in New York City and Paris, France, Ms. Peretz is an internationally recognized designer and expert on antiques and furnishings of the 19th and 20th century who has been praised for her original furniture designs. EPI designs custom furniture, cabinetry, boiserie, upholstery and draperies of the highest quality, collaborating directly with sources worldwide. Tiles, granite, and marble, as well as wood and fabrics, are all carefully matched and selected. EPI's outstanding craftsmen also fabricate and install client selections to the most exact specifications. Born in New York City, Ms. Peretz later attended the City College of New York where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Art in 1956, and began her career as an interior design assistant with Narden & Radoszy in the city that same year. Becoming certified in interior design through the New York School of Interior Design in 1964, she then spent the next six years as an associate interior designer before going into business for herself in 1970, and again in 1982, as the sole proprietor and president of EPI. She also formed Peretz & Marks Interiors as chief interior designer, which remained in business for 10 years. Beginning her career in residential design, she later moved into both residential and commercial, working abroad in England, Paris and Israel. One of her favorite memories included her time spent designing two apartments for a client in Israel that encompassed woodwork handcrafted in Italy.

Ms. Peretz was featured in "The Great Designers of the World" with a three-page spread of her work, as well as Baron's Who's Who in Interior Design. She was also featured in Distinction Magazine, spent time as a columnist for "Our Town," a weekly newspaper in New York City, and has contributed numerous other articles to various professional publications in her field. Furthermore, Ms. Peretz lectured on the subject of interior design at Marymount Manhattan College and the Fashion Institute of Technology and has mentored at Marymount Manhattan College. She was a guest lecturer at various venues. She continues to serve as a consultant in Paris, France.

An associate member of the American Society of Interior Designers and a member of Allied Board Trade, Ms. Peretz is very active with the Cambodian Children's Dream Organization (CCDO) in her spare time. CCDO provides villages with clean water, education, and health and wellbeing. Married to David Peretz since 1955 with two children, she has been featured in over 35 editions of Who's Who, including Who's Who in America, Who's Who of American Education and Who's Who in the World.
