Prior to founding his own firm, he served as the chief operating officer and head of production and logistics of Eftec AG from 2010 to 2014, and the chief executive officer and chief financial officer at Knoepfel AG from 2005 to 2010. Earlier in his career, he served as a business unit manager with Cellpack Packaging AG from 2002 to 2005, and as chair and chief executive officer at ReproPunkt AG.
Mr. Mumenthaler began his career as a student at the University of Applied Sciences St. Gallen, obtaining a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in mechanical engineering in 1981, going on to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing in 1984 from the University of Applied Sciences Zurich. He later studied at the University of St. Gallen School of Economics, Law, and Social Sciences, obtaining a degree in sales management in 1998.He returned to the University of Applied Sciences St. Gallen to complete an executive Master of Business Administration in 2008.
