"This is commercial property for rent with an attitude," states Ron Sturgeon, Local Investor.
FORT WORTH, TX, October 11, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Finding locations for a photo-op in the greater Fort Worth area is no problem. Everyone knows the beauty of Tarrant County has no limits. But finding a unique photo-op location is a bit trickier until The Barn was developed!
The Barn is the latest development by serial developer and entrepreneur Ron Sturgeon, recently featured on CNBC's Blue-Collar Millionaires. When Sturgeon's DFW Real Estate purchased the 32-acre spread at 1921 Golden Heights Rd, and he saw The Barn, a 20-stall, 4,000 square foot former horse barn, he instantly knew he had found a magical place which needed to be preserved and utilized.
"This is a unique property in the Alliance commercial real estate area," Sturgeon recently said. "Right smack dab in one of the fastest-growing industrial areas in the state, here sits this gorgeous barn oozing with character. It just didn't seem right to tear it down, although I had offers, and put up some ordinary, run-of-the-mill business park. In the final analysis, I decided that character trumps practicality, and The Barn should have her chance to do things her own way. This is commercial property for rent with an attitude."
If Sturgeon sounds a bit nostalgic it is for good reason.
"Twice now a tornado has ripped off the roof but still The Barn stands. I figure I owe it to her to keep on going. Besides, she reminds me of a barn I once played in growing up. Heck, there are just too many reasons why The Barn should remain standing in all her natural beauty.
And it is that natural, classic-country beauty that Sturgeon is betting on.
"Photographers love The Barn," he says. "They'll just pull off the side of the road and snap some pictures. It is the perfect place for a photographer. I can see commercials being shot here, or scenes for a movie or television series. Anyone manning a camera will fall in love with The Barn."
The Barn is located at 1921 Golden Heights Rd. in the Alliance commercial real estate area.
