PORTLAND, ME, March 14, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The International WorkBoat Show and Pacific Marine Expo have been named to the 2016 TSNN (Trade Show News Network) Top 250 Trade Shows in the United States list which was released earlier this week, ranking 107th and 213th respectively. Both shows are produced by Diversified Communications.

TSNN ranks the top 250 trade shows by net square footage. The International WorkBoat Show is held the first week of December in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans and utilizes over 219,000 net square feet. Pacific Marine Expo is held in November at the CenturyLink Field Event Center in Seattle and utilizes over 75,000 net square feet.

The International WorkBoat Show
The International WorkBoat Show is North America's largest commercial marine trade show and conference. The 38th edition of the show will be held from Wednesday, Nov. 29, through Friday, Dec. 1, 2017.
According to TSNN, the WorkBoat Show was the second largest trade show at the Morial Convention Center in 2016.
"The International WorkBoat Show is the top marketplace for businesses that service the coastal, inland and offshore waters." said Denielle Christensen, Event Director. "Of last year's attendees, 92% discovered new products or vendors at the show and more than70% planned to make a purchase as a result of attending.
The 2016 show attracted nearly 1,100 exhibitors and nearly 15,000 visitors from 45 states and 27 countries.

Pacific Marine Expo
Pacific Marine Expo is the West Coast's largest commercial fishing and marine trade show. Dates for the 2017 are expected to be announced in later this spring. According to TSNN, Pacific Marine Expo was the largest trade show in Seattle in 2016.
"Last year was tremendous for Pacific Marine Expo, with more than 500 exhibitors and over 8,500 visitors from 40 states and 24 countries," said Christensen.
The Expo serves all aspects of the market, including commercial vessel owner and operators, commercial fishermen, boat builders and seafood processors.
