June Macnabb Cason Named a Lifetime Achiever by Marquis Who's Who

    WEST GROVE, PA, December 07, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to name June Macnabb Cason a Lifetime Achiever. An accomplished listee, Ms. Cason celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. For more than 60 years, Ms. Cason has been perfecting her talents as not only a musician, but as an educator and artist of her time. Stepping on to the scene for the first time in 1956 as the director for a youth chorus at St. John's Episcopal Church in West Virginia, she continued to challenge herself as she moved in and out of roles. Later becoming a soloist for church and music groups, a summer music camp founder and director, and an instructor of music at the Albert Einstein Academy, she began working for LaSalle University as a trainer and consultant for their non-profit center in 1989. Holding that title for 20 years, she simultaneously upheld several other positions, which included director of development in arts and humanities at the University of Delaware from 1992 to 1999, and development director of Opera Delaware. Ms. Cason is the founder of the Minikin Opera Company, Wilmington, Del. and held the role of consultant/trainer at MacIntyre Associates from 1998 to 2013. Today, she is founder, director of the Jenner's Pond Harmony, an a cappella chorus at Jenner's Pond Retirement Community in West Grove, PA.

Ms. Cason's extensive background also includes having taught in higher education, including as a teacher of voice at San Jacinto College and as an adjunct professor at the University of Delaware. As a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, she also served as a certified fundraising executive and president of their Brandywine chapter. In 2002, the organization named her Fundraiser Executive of the Year for her remarkable work ethic. Ms. Cason is also a member of the Metropolitan Opera Guild, the Delaware Photographic Society, the Photographic Society of America and Sigma Alpha Iota, where she received a Sword of Honor, and has been included in several editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the East, Who's Who in American Education, Who's Who in Entertainment, and Who's Who of American Education. She is the proud mother of David Allan, Diane Louise, and Nancy Lynn alongside her husband, Roger Lee Cason.
