The son of Young Il Kwon and Myung Sook Kim, Dr. Se Woong first obtained a BS in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Yonsei University in 1999 before going on to earn an MS in 2002 and a PhD in 2009 in the discipline. He is a member of the Korean Institute of Electromagnetic Engineering and Science, through which he an earned an award for his research. Additionally, he has published several papers in prestigious IEEE journals, including "a harmonic suppression antenna for an active integrated antenna" and "accelerated ray tracing method for wireless communication channel in urban environments." He is married to Soon Hwa Jin and they have two daughters, Hye In Kwon, born in 2008 and Hye Yoon Kwon, born in 2012. Looking toward the future, he intends to expand upon his research and experience the upward trajectory of his career.
