Made in Fort Worth Teams with Area Businesses to Promote Graffiti Arts Festival

A Celebration of Street Art to be Held March 17, 2018 at New Business Park

"I tossed this idea around to some of my friends, mentioned that proceeds go to the SPCA of Texas, and companies like Made in Fort Worth couldn't sign on the dotted line fast enough," Ron Sturgeon.

FORT WORTH, TX, October 04, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- One of the leading web design and website marketing firms in the DFW Metroplex is teaming up with other business leaders to promote street art this spring.
Made in Fort Worth has answered the call from Ron Sturgeon, local serial entrepreneur recently featured on CNBC's Blue Collar Millionaire, and the spearhead behind Art-On-A-Can Arts Festival, which will be held at Sturgeon's brand new business park, Box Office Warehouse Suites in the Alliance Area.

"Very little is ever written about the giving nature of many of our leading business owners," Sturgeon recently said. "We have some real philanthropists in the DFW area. I tossed this idea around to some of my friends, mentioned that proceeds go to the SPCA of Texas, and companies like Made in Fort Worth couldn't sign on the dotted line fast enough. They didn't have to do that. Nobody was twisting their arms. They just saw a need, stepped up, and did what they could to help."

Made in Fort Worth has pledged a one-year free website hosting as a drawing prize at the Arts Festival, and other businesses are offering additional prizes during the day-long celebration of art in Fort Worth. The fact that the festival is being held at the first, and only, business park made entirely from shipping containers adds to the festive atmosphere of this upcoming event.

"We are going to have graffiti artists painting our shipping container business suites," Sturgeon added. "We'll have tours of the business suites, we'll have food and live music, a DJ and tons of prizes, and it will be a fun day for the entire family. You can even adopt a furry friend if you want, and the proceeds go towards preventing cruelty to animals. This is just going to be a great event for the area."

Sturgeon says everyone is welcome at this kid and pet friendly event. Admission is $5 with kids under 12 free, and 100% of the entrance fees go to SPCA. You can buy your tickets at EventBrite.com, on site, or for advanced tickets go to Graffitiartfestival.com.

Box Office Warehouse Suites is located at 1953 Golden Heights Road, just north of Fort Worth in the Alliance area, off the Interstate 35 at the Golden Triangle Exit. The Festival will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 17, 2018.
