Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Bingham is an award-winning artist and printmaker who has played a significant and instrumental role in the art community in Connecticut over the last 25 years. Her passion for the arts began at a young age, as she had always displayed creative tendencies and gravitated toward activities that allowed her to express herself -- whether through drawing or painting. "I knew that every piece of my soul was creative and it wasn't a question that it had to become my career -- in fact, it felt like it was a necessity," Ms. Bingham says, adding that when she discovered printmaking it was as if her passions were aligned with her professional calling. In 1991, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, from Connecticut College and later achieved a Master of Liberal Arts from Wesleyan University in 1995. Upon completing her education, Ms. Bingham turned her focus primarily to the exhibition world.

Over the course of her career, Ms. Bingham has exhibited across her home state of Connecticut at prominent galleries, including the Garde Arts Center, the Vanguard Gallery, the Mill Gallery, the Paul Mellon Arts Center, the Slater Museum, the New Haven Council Small Gallery, the New Britain Museum of Art, the Silvermine Guild Arts Center, the Greene Art Gallery, the Alexey von Schlippe Gallery of Art, the Center for Contemporary Printmaking, and the Bendheim Gallery. Gaining recognition as a prominent artist, Ms. Bingham feels honored to have exhibited across the country, including at the So Hyun Gallery in New York City, Gallery BAI in New York City, the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, the Fernbank Museum of Natural History in Atlanta, the Moon Gallery in Mount Berry, Ga., the Albandy Museum of Art and the Opelousas Museum of Art in Louisiana. She also exhibited globally at Luz Gallery, Manila, Philippines, Hotel Abbye-Ecole in Soreze, France, Gallery Viecli, St. Tropez, Cannes and Paris, France, Fine Arts Fair, Houston, Texas, and Art Busan Fair, Busan, Korea, among others.

A truly talented artist whose passion shines through all things, Ms. Bingham has been recognized with awards and accolades to commemorate her success. Most recently, she was selected for inclusion in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who of American Women.
