Maurine Fergueson Named a VIP Member of Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Poetry and Rental Management

    KINGSTON, OK, March 9, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Maurine Fergueson, Poet Laureate and Co-Owner of MJN, Inc., was recently named a VIP Member by Worldwide Who's Who. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.

Ms. Fergueson possesses a diverse range of talents and interests. Not only is she the co-owner of an Oklahoma-based mobile home park, but she is an esteemed poet laureate, winning numerous awards for her writing throughout the years.

Ms. Fergueson cares about her community. She is a proponent of fair and equitable business practices, and would like to see businesses compete on a friendly level that would promote putting compassion and the well-being of families and children first. She has had a varied working life and before running this mobile home park, was a cook in the school sytem. She also worked with victims of domestic violence for two years. Attesting to her creative abilities, Ms. Fergueson has had 13 poems archived. When she wrote a poem for the U.S. Air Force about the Table of Honor, the general called and asked her to read the poem. This led to her being "adopted" into the Air Force. She has written four poems for the House of London and there are 22 books in Washington, D.C. that include her poetry.
Ms. Fergueson attributes her success to the fact that she must have an angel that keeps telling her what to write. She started writing in high school and then stopped for a while. While she was in Utah, she wrote the book "My Attitude" and everything got going.

After completing her high school education, Ms. Fergueson studied bookkeeping. She has received many awards for her writing, including that of Poet Laureate from the International Poetry Hall of Fame. In 2003, she won the International Order of Merit and has been recognized as an Honorary U.S. Air Force Member. She has also won various awards from schools that carry her book and has earned a 20th Century Achievement Award, from the Washington, D.C. Library of Congress.

Additionally, she has earned inclusion in the World's Who's Who of Women, 15th Edition, and in The Best Poems of 1998 and The Best Poems of 1997, from The National Library of Poetry. In 1995, she received the International Library of Poets Merit Award. Ms. Fergueson has been recognized with the 1,000 Leaders of Influence Award and included in the Great Minds of the 21st Century Directory. She is also affiliated with the Colonus Club. Looking ahead, Ms. Fergueson plans to continue writing poetry and publish her new book, "Listen to the Universe," which includes a poem about September 11th.
