Mitsuno Ishii Reedy Named a Lifetime Achiever by Marquis Who's Who

    NORMAN, OK, October 13, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to name Mitsuno Ishii Reedy a Lifetime Achiever. An accomplished listee, Ms. Reedy celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. Establishing herself as a reputable member of the art world through her expertise in painting portraits, still lifes and landscapes, Ms. Reedy began her career in the U.S. in the mid-1970s painting for collectors throughout the country. A native of Osaka, Japan, Ms. Reedy's work has been featured in multiple publications, including "The Best of Pastel," "The Best of Oil Painting," "Portrait Inspirations," "Best of Pastel II," and "Best of America Pastel Artists, Volume II." Her oil portraits have been exhibited at the University of Oklahoma School of Law, The University of Oklahoma Price College of Business, the Greenwood Cultural Center, Purdue University, the Oklahoma Federal District Courthouse, the Oklahoma Federal District Bankruptcy Court House, the Heritage Society, and the Oklahoma State Capitol. She also served as a co-translator for the 30th Anniversary Edition of the text "How to Talk so Kids will Listen and Listen so Kids will Talk," published in 2013, as well as "Siblings without Rivalry" and "How to Be the Parent You Always Wanted to Be."

Ms. Reedy studied with Nelson Shanks at Studio Incamminati in Philadelphia from 2011 to 2015, following her previous studies at the Scottsdale Art School in 1992, the Elizabeth Ney Museum School from 1977 to 1979, and the Laguna Gloria Art Museum School in 1976. She is a member of the Portrait Society of America and an elected, full member of the Pastel Society of America.

Beyond her status as a notable and long-standing figure in her field, Ms. Reedy has been featured in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the South and Southwest, and Who's Who of American Women. Ms. Reedy is the daughter of Mitsuyoshi and Teru Ishii, and has two children with late William Barret Reedy: Mitsuno Lee and Michele Ann.
