MOFAC will introduce anime 'The Life of Jesus' at American Film Market.
ANYANG, KOREA, November 02, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- MOFAC (MOFAC, CEO Seong-ho, Jang) was established in 1995 and is the representative company that has lead the history of VFX (visual effects) for more than 23 years. This company is one of the oldest VFX company and about 300 films, screened up to the light with MOFAC.
The representative movies with VFX technologies are 'Tidal Wave', 'Volcano High School, and 'JSA', and for TV series, there are 'Taewang sasingi, 'My Love from Another Star', and the American drama, 'Spartacus'. Also, after partnering with directors John Woo and Tsui Hark, MOFAC's VFX skills have been widely spread in China so there are many Chinese projects that are in progress as well as new ones that are continually flowing in.
The animation manufacture MOFAC will present 'The Life of Our Lord' which is based on the original novel of Charles Dickens in this week. The CEO Seong-ho Jang of MOFAC said, "in the past, creating sales through VFX was our main goal but this time around, I'm quite proud to be able to introduce our own global IP content that has been created from our own technology."
The original novel of 'The Life of Our Lord' is about Dickens telling his children about the lessons of Jesus Christ. Dickens hopes that his children would get comfort and courage from these lessons from Jesus so that they grow up learning to forgive and love their neighbors.
According to MOFAC, "The Life of Jesus", which will be first introduced at the American film market, is a global IP animation targeting the US market for a 2020 release. The composition itself follows the Biblical chronology but tells the part that everyone knows a lot but also does not know well.
This 'The Life of Our Lord' is a family drama (Rated G), which is produced with 3D animation that implements visuals similar to Toy Story. 85~90 minutes running time, and the total production cost is estimated at $15 million.
The United States, which is scheduled to enter the market, analyzes 78% of the nation's population as Christians, and has a good chance of showing up with a specialization market where the number of movie and animated viewers and investment performance are remarkably high.
Through participating the American Film Market, the CEO Seong-ho Jang said, "MOFAC has been unique and have developed as Asia's best VFX company through constant development in technology" and added, "Because I have a high understanding degree of movie media, we will not only become a VFX technology company but also think of it as a companion to the film industry and make the best works that we can do."
