MIAMI, FL, October 17, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On Thursday, October 12th, Nerds Support was recognized by the South Florida Business Journal as the 7th fastest growing technology company in South Florida based on Revenue Percentage Growth. The South Florida Business Journal found the fastest growing companies in South Florida and separated them into two lists. One list showcases the 15 fastest growing companies based on revenue percentage growth and the second list announces the 10 fastest growing companies ranked by dollar growth. Nerds Support made it on to the list with the Fastest Growing Percentage Growth.
When we asked Scott Richman, CIO and leader of Nerds Support's Miami IT Services team, about what the award meant to him. Scott said, "All this recognition throughout the whole night has meant so much to me and the dedication I have put into Nerds Support these past 13 years. But truly, none of this would be possible without my team." It is also worth noting that Scott was one of the Finalists for CIO of the Year for Small Companies, an award that was announced sometime in the evening.
The company opened its doors in 2004. They were the first company to adopt to Cloud Computing in Miami and, complete with their in-house Miami IT Support team, Nerds Support worked restlessly to become leaders in Cloud Technologies. Day after day, the company researched different technologies, in search of different types of software and tools that can maximize business performance.
As time went by, Nerds Support began increasing their clientele base and experiencing growth on a year to year basis. They also realized that with their growth, their clients were also experiencing growth. "When Nerds Support grows, it is because our clients are growing. Our innovation has been able to leverage businesses and maximize their success," Scott said.
Soon after, Nerds Support began acquiring partnerships with well-known technology companies such as Magaya and Microsoft. They also began supporting different software such as VM Ware and Citrix.
For their pioneering in Cloud Services, Nerds Support went on to receive recognition from companies such as MSPmentor and The Channel Company. In fact, Nerds Support has continuously been invited to The Channel Company's Best of Breed conference, as one of the Top 250 Managed Service Providers in the world.
When asked about how his team contributed the Nerds Support's success, Scott said, "My team and their dedication to Nerds Support is the whole reason we were able to get recognized by the South Florida Business Journal. I just want them to know how vital they are to our company and how important they are to our success."
Scott then talked about how the company will move forward after the ceremony, "as a company, our number one priority has not been the amount of awards we receive (even though we are so humble to received them), but rather the amount of businesses that succeed because of Nerds Support's state-of- the-art technology and services. We will continue to provide the finest business IT support in South Florida and continue to change the way businesses function. Our innovation and experience will allow businesses to remain competitive in their industry and at the same time be successful."
