SECAUCUS, NJ, March 25, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- OrangeHRM, Inc. is pleased to announce that it released the latest version of OrangeHRM, its open-source HRM software today. Release 2.6 incorporates a Performance Module, a new feature designed to help small- and medium-sized enterprises conduct formal employee performance reviews.

Adding Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for each job title independently is one of the key aspects of the Performance Module. It's important that both parties are aware of the expectations that by adding distinctive KPI's for job titles, employers can make sure their expectations are communicated clearly and persuade employees to achieve these goals.
OrangeHRM is an open-source human resources management platform, so the product is available for download at no cost. Having access to powerful management products is critical for small- and medium-sized enterprises, but OrangeHRM recognizes that many smaller businesses don't have the IT resources to manage and use open-source applications. OrangeHRM also offers complete hosted solutions, full product support, product add-ons and customization services that enable small- and medium-sized enterprises without their own IT departments to make the most of open source human resource management software.
OrangeHRM gives small businesses the ability to manage personnel information, attendance and timekeeping securely, provide employee self-service HRM functions, track leave, administer benefit and manage new employee recruitment and retention. The new release will also incorporate the Symphony framework in the administration and PIM modules in advance of the product's complete migration to the Symphony framework. Symphony is an enterprise-level development framework that will improve security and assist third-party software developers to create customized additions to the program code.
