NEW YORK, NY, February 02, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Kenneth O. Rothaus, a board-certified top NYC plastic surgeon, now offers Crisalix, a state of the art technology that uses virtual reality to give patients a picture of what their results will look like in 3D on a tablet or computer. Crisalix is a novel device that allows patients to better visualize the results of a cosmetic procedure, such as breast augmentation, prior to undergoing surgery.
"The new Crisalix Virtual Aesthetics is a huge step forward for many of our patients in helping them make the decision to undergo plastic surgery or not," says Dr. Rothaus, "the program allows us to show the results of what they want in a range of options. We are happy to now offer this at my practice."
During a patient consultation, Dr. Rothaus will scan a patient's body using a special camera or with photographs from several angles. Patients may also initiate the process with three photos taken from home. He will then discuss with his patient the specifications of their plastic surgery procedure. Crisalix then allows patients to see a 3D image of the procedure results, based on the consultation. Patients can also view their 3D scan and procedure visualization on their phone or tablet and share the visualization with friends and family.
