Paul Joseph Guglielmino Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

    PORT SAINT LUCIE, FL, December 08, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Paul Joseph Guglielmino, EdD, with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Dr. Guglielmino celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. A staple at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) for more than 30 years, Dr. Guglielmino was first hired in 1977 as a director for division of continued education, later becoming the executive director of the Stuart-James Research Center in the college of business in 1986. In 1990, Dr. Guglielmino's role shifted when he earned the opportunity to teach for the first time as an adjunct professor of management. Four years later, he became an associate professor.

Soon thereafter, Dr. Guglielmino began serving as the associate director of the center for entrepreneurship, a role he held for six years. In 2005, Dr. Guglielmino co-founded Guglielmino & Associates in Port Saint Lucie, FL. He taught as an associate professor from 1994 until his official retirement in 2009.

Outside of the classroom, Dr. Guglielmino was an invited lecturer at North-West University in their college of business. He served on the advisory board for Selected Centers for Excellence at Walt Disney World, was a delegate for the Florida Governor's Conference on Library and Information Services, and spent time on the board of the International Self-Directed Learning Symposium. He is also a longtime member of the Academy of Management, the Association of Citadel Men, and the Academy of International Business.

Dr. Guglielmino has written extensively during his career. He has contributed several chapters to books, including the book "Practical Experience with Self-Directed Learning in Business and Industry Human Resource Development" in 1995. He has also written several abstracts and dozens of articles in professional journals, such as The Journal of Education Finance and the SAM Advanced Management Journal. Furthermore, he has served as a reviewer for Human Resource Development Quarterly, the International Journal of Self-Directed Learning, and Human Resource Management Journal.

Dr. Guglielmino holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from The Citadel, a Master of Arts in Advertising and Public Relations from The University of Georgia's The Henry Grady School of Journalism, and an EdD in Adult Education from The University of Georgia. He has also earned numerous awards throughout his career in education, including a 2004 Tradition of Excellence Award, a 1998 University Distinguished Teacher of the Year Award from FAU, and a 2002 Malcolm Knowles Memorial Award in Self-Directed Learning for Lifelong Contributions to the Field. FAU also honored Dr. Guglielmino with an International Research Grant and an International Travel Grant to the University of Paris in the 1990s. He holds a patent in his field.

Dr. Guglielmino has been included in numerous editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Education, Who's Who in the South and Southwest, and Who's Who in the World. Dr. Guglielmino is married to Lucy Margaret Madsen with whom he has had two children and five grandchildren.
