Quartz Master Leases 12,208 SF at Ackerman & Co.'s Lavista Business Park

    ATLANTA, GA, February 09, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ackerman & Co. has signed a 12,208-square-foot lease with Quartz Master at Lavista Business Park, a 4-building, 217,089-square-foot business center in Tucker, Ga., northeast of downtown Atlanta.

Bayonne, N.J.-based Quartz Master, a leading manufacturer of quartz surfaces, will use the space for its Atlanta-area distribution operations, furthering the company's plan to make its Quartz Master products available in every state by 2021.

Ackerman & Co. Senior Vice President Frank Farrell represented the landlord in the transaction and Tarkenton Thompson of Richard Bowers & Co. represented Quartz Master. The lease takes effect March 1, 2018.

Ackerman purchased Lavista Business Park for $12.7 million in August 2017. The new lease signing brings Lavista Building B to 100%. Ackerman & Co.'s leasing efforts have boosted overall occupancy at the business park from 87% at the time of purchase to 97% today.

Lavista Business Park is located 1/4 mile from the I-285 loop highway and provides convenient access to I-85, I-20, U.S. Highway 78, Buford Highway and Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. The business park's diverse tenant roster includes Sonnen, a German energy firm that established its 26,000-square-foot U.S. headquarters and innovation center in the park last year, as well as the Veterans Administration, Pure Red Marketing and WaveGuide Studios.
