VOLGOGRAD, RUSSIA, April 21, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- ReclaiMe Data Recovery Company, a leading global provider of data recovery solutions for various storage devices from a single hard drive to multi-disk systems, today announces the official release of ReclaiMe Pro version 852, the company's flagship toolkit. The new ReclaiMe Pro release expands the list of supported filesystems thus allowing data recovery experts to extract even more data.
A new filesystem, VMFS, has been added to the impressive list of supported filesystems. VMFS is a filesystem designed by VMware Inc. to be used in ESX servers to store virtual machine data.
"Until recently VMFS was not much in demand among our clients, data recovery technicians. However, times are changing - and over the past few months we see an increase in VMFS recovery requests in our support." - says Elena Pakhomova, CEO of ReclaiMe Company. "Since we always sensitive to the needs of our clients and follow the latest trends in data storage, we decided to implement the VMFS recovery algorithms to our ReclaiMe Pro."
VMFS is more complex than a traditional filesystem. In addition to the regular file storage, it also integrates volume manager functions, allowing a volume to span across several physical devices. This makes VMFS data recovery more complex task than one would naturally expect. VMFS data recovery includes two stages - reassembling the VMFS volume from extents and subsequent file extraction. ReclaiMe Pro is capable of performing these two stages of VMFS recovery in automatic mode, although it is also possible to reassemble the volume manually.
As of now, ReclaiMe Pro offers VMFS recovery from VMFS3 and VMFS5 volumes.
For over 10 years, ReclaiMe Data Recovery Company has been developing data recovery algorithms used both by home users worldwide and data recovery technicians globally to extract all the data possible. Whether you have a single disk or a complex multi-disk storage like NAS, ReclaiMe provides data recovery solution for your case; the company piggy bank includes data recovery algorithms for RAIDs of different types, MS Storage Spaces, and a wide range of filesystems from Microsoft, Linux, MacOS, and others.
