BRENTWOOD, TN, February 08, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Shirley Stephens with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. Stephens celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

A writer and an editor for nearly five decades, Ms. Stephens is presently parlaying her experience into her role as the vice president of Authors Book Nook. The store, located in Brentwood, TN, was established to sell and publish her and her husband's books. She most recently released "Great Truths from Jesus' Conversations with Men" in 2010, preceded by "Great Truths from Jesus' Conversations with Women" in 2003. Other notable books include, "My Daughter Susan Smith," "From the Cell to the Cross," "Breaking Crime's Vicious Cycle," "A New Testament View of Women" and "Under the SS Shadow."

Previously, Ms. Stephens served as a self-employed writer in Nashville, TN, and a contract writer and editor of Lifeway Christian Resources. The highlight of her journey, however, was her decision to go to seminary. She initially majored in English with a minor in secondary education, and after praying, found she couldn't stand the thought of taking another education class. She looked at the catalog to figure out what she should do next and theology stood out to her. She graduated as the only woman in the School of Theology. Ms. Stephens now holds a Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude, from Grand Canyon University and a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

When Ms. Stephens has spare time, she enjoys sports, movies and teaching English as a second language. She also volunteers with Next Door and has completed three mission trips to Kenya. As a testament to her success, she was honored with inclusion in five editions of Who's Who in America and the 1957 edition of Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities.

In recognition of outstanding contributions to her profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Shirley Stephens has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
