The City of Vallejo, California becomes a Wonderland of Activities when the Mad Hatter Arrives with the Popular Mad Hatter Holiday Festival, Parade, and Tree Lighting

The Mad Hatter Holiday Festival attracts thousands to the historic downtown district with its whimsical and fire-shooting Wonderland recreation that turns the city into a fantasy world for children and adults alike!

    VALLEJO, CA, November 09, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- This year added attractions include a visit from Darth Vader and his elite Storm Troopers to Wonderland to attack the Tree Lighting with their laser beams along with Krampus, horned anthropomorphic figures, searching for misbehaved kids in Vallejo's Wonderland!

This year's Grand Marshal is Midsi Sanchez, a missing child advocate, she was abducted as a 8 yr old girl walking home from school in Vallejo-she was able to free herself from her captive and put the serial killer behind bars-she's Vallejo's hero for the Mad Hatter Holiday Parade.

The Mad Hatter Holiday Festival, Parade and Tree Lighting is held Saturday, December 5, 2015 more Mad Hatter activities are held throughout the month of December with tea parities and performances within the merchant stores and at the Empress Theater. The Vallejo Historical & Naval Museum hosts its annual Hatter's Tea with Teddy during the Mad Hatter Holiday Parade and Festival. One of the other highlights is the Grand Victorian Homes Tour, Sunday, December 13, 2015 in Vallejo, CA., in the Downtown Historic District (Wonderland Hotline: 844-344-8793)

Wonderland Festival Activities begins at 1 p.m. in Unity Plaza, downtown Vallejo
Mad Hatter Parade starts at 4:30 p.m. (Georgia and Sonoma Blvd.)
Tree Lighting Ceremony starts at 6 p.m.
Lighted Boat Parade starts at 6:30 p.m.

About Mad Hatter Events:

Award winning Burning Man Fire Shooting mobile creations of horses, dragons, snails and ponies light-up Vallejo's downtown streets in the Mad Hatter Holiday Parade. There are also decorated marching bands and dancing Maritime Academy Cadets gracing the downtown in the parade (our very own "March of the Wooden Soldiers"), and attendees donned with top hats and Victorian attire come in droves to celebrate Wonderland once again where the Mad Hatter rules.

There is a 5 foot Santa G-Nome that shoots flames from the top of his head thirty feet into the air, giant multicolored glowing wagon wheels, Harry Potter's flying bus, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's floating car, the Mad Hatter, White Rabbit, March Hare, Cheshire Cat, as well as the dormouse, the Lion King and the roving Red Queen and Duchess - Santa pole dances on top of Chester the Firing Pony with all of his beautiful helpers - an adult and children's fantasy Wonderland that many popular storybook and film characters find their way to Vallejo to participate in Wonderland during the Mad Hatter Holiday Festival from dancing horses to Krampus to Galactic Empires.

In addition, many of the downtown merchants, galleries, eateries, besides the theater and museum all participate with Wonderland surprises throughout the month of December.
