UAV Propulsion Tech now Representing MicroPilot to Market their Autopilots in the US

MicroPilots new triple redundant autopilot will improve UAV safety which is becoming important in defense applications as asset costs increase and in commercial applications as civilian air space is opened.



    TAMPA, FL, January 19, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- UAV Propulsion Tech has signed a representative agreement with MicroPilot (Stony Mountain, Canada) to market their family of autopilots into the US Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) market. UAV Propulsion Tech currently represents Australian and German propulsion, servo and rescue/recovery parachute companies to market their products to the US UAV market. Companies include: Orbital Australia Pty. Ltd. (custom heavy fuel propulsion systems), Goebler-Hirthmotoren (2-stroke aircraft engines and starter/generators), Volz Servos (actuators) and Skygraphics (rescue/recovery parachute systems).

MicroPilot is a world leader in professional autopilots for UAV's and serves over 850 clients in over 70 countries. MicroPilot has been in business since 1994 and offers a family of lightweight autopilots for fixed-wing, transitional, helicopter, and multi-rotor UAV's. Solutions offered include: autopilots (board mount, enclosed and triple redundant), HORIZON Ground Control Software, True Hardware-in-the-Loop (trueHWIL) simulators, and XTENDER autopilot customization software. UAV Propulsion Tech was selected by MicroPilot to expand these solutions into the growing US UAV market.
