Women of Distinction Magazine Selects Diane Hudson as a Distinguished Professional in Her Field

Diane Hudson will be featured on the front cover of the September 2016 edition of Women of Distinction Magazine.

BOISE, ID, September 07, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Diane Hudson, Director of the Certified Professional Career Coach program (CPCC), and Owner of Career Marketing Techniques, has been recognized as a Distinguished Professional in her field through Women of Distinction Magazine. Diane Hudson will be featured on the front cover of the September 2016 edition of Women of Distinction Magazine.

During Hudson's tenured career, she has gained great insight to the ever-changing job search landscape. As Director of the Certified Professional Career Coach program, sponsored by the Professional Association of Resume Writers & Career Coaches (PARW/CC), she trains and certifies career coaches from across the globe from within varied industries and professions including military transition and employment readiness counselors, college career center coaches, one-stops, outplacement, business managers, human resources, industry, federal, and more. These career coaches learn to build career coaching practices and mini-business plans, craft workforce development plans for employers, increase career center client engagement, integrate new career coaching products or services, create awareness of new careers and jobs, integrate Diane's Whole-Person Theory into coaching action, leverage communications in career coaching, manage difficult career coaching populations, and much more.

The benefits that CPCCs offer their clients include clarifying job search/career situations, setting and getting goals, developing new perspectives, discerning professional and personal identity, sharpening career management skills (social media, resumes, interviewing, LinkedIn profiles, succession planning), pinpointing direction and creating career management solutions, gaining a competitive advantage (over the hundreds of other applicants), and much more. Hudson's CPCC program is a full-spectrum, practical career coaching program that trains career coaches to work with job seekers to design viable career management plans and more easily navigate the job search process, becoming what Hudson calls as "job-search-proofed."

As Co-Author of 'The New Senior Executive Service Application', Hudson specializes in training senior leaders in the federal government, military officers, and executives (C-Suite) in industry how to write senior executive service (SES) resumes and application packages for positions one-level down from presidential appointees. She travels the country to train at federal government agencies and military bases, including Southern Command, Army Special Operations, the Air Force Reserve Command, Bureau of Reclamation, FEMA, the Patent and Trademark Office, the Air Force Candidate Development (CDP) and career broadening program, and more. She also trains at federal agencies and military bases teaching on federal resume writing and job search to transitioning military, military spouses, Wounded Warriors, and federal employees. She has trained across the nation and in Europe, Japan and Korea. In 2015, she traveled 150K flight miles to train coaches and job seekers how to write resumes and engage in job search and career management planning.

"My success is found in my clients' success," Hudson said in relation to her business. "Seeking employment is challenging and involves many moving parts. Candidates today need to have a 'personal brand' that permeates the job search, and they need to learn to 'tell their story' and provide value to a potential employer via the story-telling on the resume, via networking, and in the interview process."

Hudson continued, "Career coaching is a very relevant field in today's world. Job search has evolved in the past 15 years mostly due to social media and digital platforms. As such, job seekers must make a statement; they need to differentiate themselves from the strong competition in the employment market. As long as there are jobs to be had and the desire for job seekers to find promotions, new careers, and meet retirement goals, there will forever be a need for my services as a Career Coach.

As a Public Speaker and expert in her field, Hudson has spoken and trained professionals at various conferences for private corporations, federal government agencies, and military organizations. She has contributed chapters, case studies, resumes, and cover letters to more than 60 books and periodicals, including 'The Expert Resume Series', 'Knock 'em Dead Resumes', 'Resumes for Dummies', 'The Federal Resume Guidebook', and others, has written numerous articles and blogs regarding career coaching and resume writing for such organizations as Job-Hunt.org, Workforce50.com, and others, and has been quoted in major national newspapers and articles written by such organizations as AARP.

A Board Member for the Professional Association of Resume Writers & Career Coaches (PARW/CC), Hudson writes a monthly career-coaching column for the organization's journal, and she previously sat on PARW/CC's International Resume Certification Board. She is a volunteer for Wounded Warriors at Camp Pendleton, the Naval Hospital in San Diego, California, and with many military spouses in both Europe and Korea where she teaches resume writing and job search techniques. Over the course of her career, she's received numerous accolades, including a Commitment to Excellence Award in the Resume Industry from PARW/CC, a Best Executive Resume Award from PARW/CC, a Career Mastery Award for her commitment to the field from Career Management Alliance, the first Annual Career Industry Mentor Award from Career Management Alliance, a Certificate of Appreciation from the Air Force Reserve Command (2016), a coin and Certificate of Appreciation from the Air Force Europe, and was also nominated for the More Ambition Award (http://bit.ly/1FmWhxC).

Hudson is a multi-credentialed leader and career management strategist in the career industry, arming clients with career management tools for career change, career search, and career development. Holding a BA in Journalism from California Polytechnic University in California and nine industry credentials, including Certified Leadership and Talent Management Coach, Certified Professional Resume Writer, Certified Federal Job Search Trainer and Coach, and others, she helps build client confidence throughout the career search campaign. Hudson also has experience as a former professional interviewer as a Special Agent Investigator for the Department of Defense and former Employment Specialist and Recruiter for Northrop Corporation in Los Angeles, California.
