Women of Distinction Magazine Selects Rita A. Becerra Slavens as a Distinguished Professional in Her Field

Becerra Slavens, Massage Therapist and Owner of Sweet Dreams Custom Massage, has been recognized as a Distinguished Professional in her field through Women of Distinction Magazine. Rita A. Becerra will be featured in the upcoming edition in 2015/2016.

Going back to school at the age of 59, Rita A. Becerra Slavens worked toward becoming a massage therapist. It was a great opportunity for her to work from home, have a flexible work schedule, and become her own boss. Known by many as a "giver", Ms. Slavens wanted to help others release their pains, such as sciatica, putting them back on a road to recovery.

Working with children in her free time, Ms. Slavens spends approximately 2-3 hours per week at Sundays Grace Place teaching children to give praise to the Lord, reading the Bible, and how to apply it to everyday life.
