Worldwide Who's Who Names Thomas Fortune Fay, Esq. Professional of the Year in Legal Services

    WASHINGTON, DC, November 5, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Thomas Fortune Fay, JD, Founder of Fay Kaplan Law, P.A., has been named a Worldwide Who's Who Professional of the Year in Legal Services. As the founder of Fay Kaplan Law, P.A., Mr. Fay specializes in anti-terrorism law and practices personal injury law, in addition to representing victims of international terrorism. He was motivated to become an attorney after listening to the speech of Senator Taft in the early 1950s. He obtained the first collection in an anti-terrorism case against Iran and has collected numerous multimillion-dollar awards for his clients. He is admitted to practice in the United States Courts of Appeals in the District of Columbia, the Fourth Circuit and the Ninth Circuit.

Mr. Fay received a JD from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in 1965, having received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Notre Dame in 1961. He is a member of the Trial Lawyers Association of Metropolitan Washington, DC, The District of Columbia Bar, the Maryland State Bar Association Inc., and the American Board of Trial Advocates. In 2010, he was named as a super lawyer, and in 2002, he received a special commendation from the Civil Justice Foundation. Looking ahead, Mr. Fay hopes to continue working as a lawyer.
