Glisson Capital Announces Project Funding for Oil and Gas Exploration and Development

As Gas Prices hit historic highs, attention is focused on the need for more resources. Most new energy for hungry global markets will come from countries too poor to be able to afford the product themselves.

/24-7PressRelease/ - Los Altos, CA. June 3, 2006 - Linda Glisson (former Eastman Kodak Director of Venture Investment and an established Silicon Valley investment banker) of Glisson Capital, LLC www.glissoncapital.com), today announced an alliance with Robert Sandford Stewart to provide project funding for exploration and development of new oil and gas fields. Glisson Capital believes Mr. Stewart's instincts and experience in oil and gas exploration will provide solid leadership.

Combining management of the giant $50 billion Bechtel Master Plan for the DR Congo with initiating the Songo Songo Gas-to-Electricity Project in Tanzania, Robert Stewart has the experience in the field. Mr. Stewart has participated in the creation of dozens of projects that span the development of mining (Kilembe Mines Limited, Uganda), metallurgy (American Mineral Fields, DRC), GSM Telecom (Motorola for Nitel/Nigeria), energy (gas exploration in Cameroon with Mobil Oil Corp.), water (Okavango Development in Botswana) and airport projects (Mutallah Mohamed/Nigeria, Tripoli International Libya) that straddle the continent. Mr. Stewart believes the only solution for new energy production lies in opening up vast quantities of fossil fuels already discovered in dozens of countries as well as new opportunities just opening up in countries such as Tanzania, Uganda, the Great Lakes, the DR Congo, Namibia, Chad, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea and others. Unlocking their supply for domestic populations at affordable prices and in such quantities will allow them to participate in the forthcoming energy bonanzas.

Linda Glisson agrees that, "the biggest challenge to Third World nations is to clean up corruption in order to become major producer nations. Ms. Glisson believes it will take political and financial resources and expertise to achieve stable development.' Third World Nations must first put their houses in order. Band-aids no longer apply. Like Dracula, Western promoters and traders feed on these emerging markets and bleed off their resources with no benefit improving the domestic suppliers. This permanently cripples their ability to meet future needs. Mr. Stewart's experience as a former Canadian foreign service diplomat has the political perspective necessary to navigate these challenges.
