Peter Scott Mottek has been working in the banking industry for nearly thirty years. The experiences that I have had with volunteering have not only helped to change the lives of others, but my own life as well. Peter Scott Mottek is the Co-CEO and Country Manager for Barclays Bank, PLC in Iberia. He has helped in a number of community involvement projects in areas such as Portugal. From the years 2008 to 2012, Peter Scott Mottek helped manage a major reforestation project to help restore forests that suffered from a devastating fires.
For four years, Peter Scott Mottek and Barclays helped the people of Portugal in planting more than 100,000 trees. Peter Scott Mottek
says that the aid did not stop there. Barclays also dedicated themselves to making sure that they would provide financial support for the next twenty years. Peter Scott Mottek says that this is to ensure the development of the renewed forests.
In addition to the help that Barclays has already provided, Peter Scott Mottek says that they also support the food bank in Portugal each year called Banco Alimentar. Peter Scott Mottek and the staff at Barclays help prepare and pack food in order for it to be distributed to all of the Portugese citizens in need. This special event takes place in the fall of each year, and Peter Scott Mottek and his family are always honored to participate.
In addition to the work that Peter Scott Mottek does with Barclays, he personally helps in other ways as well. Since 2009, Peter Scott Mottek
has been helping to generate scholarships for high school students in Portugal. His family helped create and develop the Legacy Foundation in help high potential students their dreams through scholarship money raised by the foundation.

also helps his community in Boca Raton, Florida, support the Festival of the Arts and his local March of Dimes chapter.About:
