/24-7PressRelease/ - HARRISBURG, PA, September 14, 2008 - JPL Productions, Inc., a long-time Central Pennsylvania media and technology firm, formally unveiled a new brand identity today that signifies the organization's evolution into a strategic, integrated communications company. The organization's new streamlined name, JPL, reflects its expanded range of communications services which include research, brand and marketing strategy, in addition to web, video, e-learning, and meetings and events services.---
"For many years, we have been more than a production company, with our creative talent and interactive media capabilities," said JPL President Luke Kempski. "Now, we've taken it a step further. We're providing strategy, creative, production and technology all under one roof. We have the expertise and resources to build communications programs that generate measurable results and support our clients' changing business needs."
Founded in 1989, JPL has grown steadily and consistently over the past 19 years. In 2004, the company moved into an 88,000 square-foot communication center in Swatara Township. Since then, JPL has doubled in size and grown to nearly 100 employees, diversifying the company's expertise and expanding its capabilities in e-marketing, application development and communications planning. The organization's success has been acknowledged on a local and national scale. JPL was recognized as a Top 50 Fastest Growing Company in 2006 by the Central Penn Business Journal and was recently included on the Inc. 5000 list of the Fastest Growing Private Companies in America.
JPL's growth has been driven by its commitment to leveraging new technologies to achieve clients' business objectives. As interactive technologies and the internet emerged as results-oriented communications elements, the company became an early adopter and today features a substantial technology practice. JPL has won numerous awards for website design and development and recently earned the number one spot on the Central Penn Business Journal's list of leading web companies.
The company's growth has also been driven by expanding relationships with existing clients. Today, JPL's top 10 clients do twice the amount of business with the company compared with four years ago. According to JPL Founder and Executive Chairman Michael Horgan, "We've been working with some clients for more than 15 years, and they continue to tap into our new capabilities as we develop them. They expect us to bring new ideas and technologies to the table, and they rely on us to bring unique approaches that deliver results."
In 2007, the company established an integrated communications group to develop and activate a client's brand seamlessly across media. The new department includes existing staff and new team members providing research, strategy and creative oversight for integrated campaigns.
"Now more than ever, businesses in our area require a higher level of service," said Bill Kobel, JPL Vice-President, Strategy and Integrated Communications. "Our clients are competing in dynamic markets. They require a partner who knows their business and can bring fresh insight and execute on a thought-through, integrated strategy. We're now bringing that kind of expertise and depth to our work. Our focus is on helping clients establish mindshare, generate growth and increase shareholder value. "
"We know that some clients want to continue working with us as they have in the past." added Kempski. "For them, it's business as usual, plus access to expanded capabilities if they need them. The rebranding of our company is really the culmination of a 19-year journey and merely the beginning of more great things to come."
