Global Fiberglass Solutions, Inc. Announces Initial List of States for Green Environmental Plants

BELLEVUE, WA, May 02, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Global Fiberglass Solutions, Inc., Bellevue, WA based company announces that it is now narrowed down a preliminary list of states that it will introduce its new technology to build and manage facilities to collect and recycle fiberglass on a national basis, once collected will employ up to approximately 250 workers per plant.

The technology and process is proprietary and not being utilized by any other company or government agency, this will change the way fiberglass and other previously non-recyclable materials will be disposed of and save landfills from hundreds of millions of pounds of toxic non-decomposing material.

Ludlow Esses, Global Fiberglass Solutions, Inc. Executive Vice President in charge of operations, commented, "Since our first announcement we are very pleased at the up tick both domestically and internationally the company is receiving on the sustainability of our solution from companies in the US, Europe, and China."

"We are proud to manufacture a recycled co-mingled glass and thermoplastic composite products using cutting edge industry-leading technology," said Don Lilly, President at Global Fiberglass Solutions. "This will allow for continuity of recycled supply in the U.S. for co-mingled glass and thermoplastic roving products, and also allow us to work with our customers to develop new applications for the recycled products keeping previously non-recyclable fiberglass materials out of landfills."

Why Recycle Fiberglass and Fiberglass Products?

Fiberglass has been put into landfills as the primary way of disposal. There are multiple issues with this as it is fairly light and takes up a lot of room for its weight. It also has unusually high strength and it very slow to decompose taking hundreds of years to start the decomposition process.

Many traditionally green businesses are green throughout their entire processes up until it is time to dispose of the fiberglass they use. It is at this point that the only way to dispose of the fiberglass in the USA up until now has been to deliver to a local landfill.

Global Fiberglass Solutions will have a dramatic impact on the way fiberglass is disposed of and on the production of other fiberglass products that will now be considered green from production through use and disposal.
