Montreal Dentist Receives Fellowship From the Academy of General Dentistry

    MONTREAL, QC, May 02, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- By maintaining the highest level of continuing education standards, Dr. John Petruccelli, Montreal dentist, has received a Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry. With less than 2% of dentists in Canada holding this Fellowship status, Dr. Petruccelli is honored to receive this.

A general dentist who is a "Fellow" in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) has been recognized by other general dentists as a leader and exemplifies to other dentists the importance of quality continuing dental education. To earn the FAGD, a dentist must complete a minimum of 500 continuing dental education credit hours, pass a comprehensive exam and have been an AGD member for three continuous years - all of which Dr. Petruccelli as completed.

This Fellowship allows Dr. Petruccelli to distinguish himself professionally through quality continuing education. Attaining FAGD culminates with receipt of the award at the AGD convocation ceremony held each year at the AGD annual meeting.

Additionally, Dr. Petruccelli, dentist in Montreal, QC, obtained a Fellowship by the American Dental Implant Association in oral Implantology. He also completed a three-year post-graduate program in orthodontics at Montreal's International Dental Institute.
