Mickey Strauss Recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Landscaping

    SYLMAR, CA, April 5, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mickey Strauss, President of MSM Landscape Services, Inc., has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in landscaping.

Mr. Strauss became involved in his profession through the inspiration he received from his father, a homebuilder, and the knowledge he gained from an ornamental horticulture class. He has an exemplary 50 years of experience in landscaping and grounds management, and has owned two businesses in the field. Mr. Strauss has successfully completed landscape projects for large commercial buildings, industrial complexes, high-rise buildings and golf courses throughout the southwest, including the Ronald Regan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, CA.

For the past five years, Mr. Strauss has served as president of MSM Landscape Services, providing quality services to the commercial and industrial sectors in Southern California. He oversees the business operations, consulting with customers on commercial, industrial and public landscaping; also on gardening, irrigation and grounds management.

Mr. Strauss received an associate degree in ornamental horticulture from Pierce College, Los Angeles, Calif. He is the former president of the California Landscape Contractors Association, the California Landscaping & Irrigation Council and the Greater Los Angles Green Industry Council. Mr. Strauss has been distinguished with the California Landscape Contractors Association Allegiance award and Member of the Year award. He was also the recipient of the California Landscape Contractors Association Women's Auxiliary Knight of the Garter distinction. Mr. Strauss was inducted into the Green Industry Hall of Fame. In 2013, he was singled out to receive the California Landscape Contractors Association "Mickey Strauss Grass Roots Award" named in his honor for a Lifetime of Political Action for the benefit of the landscape industry.
