NEW YORK, NY, March 05, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Colette Grace Celia Mazzucelli, Ph.D., with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. With thirty (30) years of professional experience, Dr. Mazzucelli has been a Visiting Lecturer at the Budapest University of Economic Sciences, 1995-97, and introduced the first technology-mediated seminar in the history of Sciences Po (Institute of Political Studies) Paris, 2000-03, with funding from the Robert Bosch Foundation in Stuttgart, Germany. She taught for a decade on faculty in the MA Program in International Relations in the Graduate School of Arts & Science at New York University and as a part-time professor at Long Island University (LIU) Global. Presently, she is on the graduate faculty in the NYU SPS Center for Global Affairs, 2004-present. In addition, Dr. Mazzucelli is a part-time research mentor with Pioneer Academics, a position she has held for eleven (11) years. In 2016, Dr. Mazzucelli was named an Ambassador of Peace by the Institute of Peace and Development (INSPAD). In 2019, she became Founder and Principal of the LEAD IMPACT Reconciliation Institute. More recently, Dr. Mazzucelli accepted a position as Lead Series Editor and eMonograph author for the Anthem Press Ethics of Personal Data Collection Series. The Anthem Press Series has five (5) titles in print with three (3) more under contract for publication during 2025-26.

Dr. Mazzucelli began her career as a student at the University of Scranton, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in history and philosophy, magna cum laude, in 1983. She continued her studies with Tufts University, completing a Master of Arts in law and diplomacy in 1987. She subsequently joined Georgetown University, where she obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in government in 1996. She continued her education in 2011 earning a Master of Education in international education development and international humanitarian studies from Teachers College Columbia University.

A prolific author, Dr. Mazzucelli has contributed myriad articles to professional journals and chapters to books, having also contributed various articles with colleagues from New York University, Harvard University, Long Island University, the University of Oslo, Georgetown University and Carnegie Mellon University, among many other entities. For Anthem Press, she has edited and contributed to the volumes The Ethics of Personal Data Collection in International Relations as well as Personal Data Collection Risks in a Post-Vaccine World with co-editors James Felton Keith and C. Ann Hollifield. An editor and author with Dr. Ronald J. Bee of Mapping Transatlantic Futures German-American Relations in a Global World in 2015, she also penned France and Germany at Maastricht Politics and Negotiations to Create the European Union in 1997, with its second paperback edition appearing in 1999, and a Kindle edition released in 2007, and was the assistant editor of The Evolution of an International Actor: Western Europe's New Assertiveness in 1990.

A respected voice in her industry, Dr. Mazzucelli has been an active leader in her community. She is a member of the American Association of University Women, the American Council on Germany, the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs, the Robert Bosch Foundation Alumni Association, the Fletcher Club of New York, the Salzburg Global Seminar, and numerous honor societies. She has also been affiliated with the American Political Science Association, the Wilton Park International Association, the Women's Foreign Policy Group, the Foreign Policy Association, the Rotary Club of New York, and the European Union Studies Association.

Throughout her career, Dr. Mazzucelli has received awards for her achievements. Named International Educator of the Year in 2003, she was a Da Vinci Laureate in 2004 and the recipient of a Citation from the National Women's Conference in 2006. Likewise, she received an Excellence in Teaching Award from New York University in 2013. She has been a Swiss Universities Grantee, Pi Gamma Mu Scholar, Rotary Graduate Ambassadorial Fellow, Fulbright Scholar, Robert Bosch Foundation Fellow, and a Jean Monnet Council Fellow. She was also a 21st Century Trust Fellow through the University of Oxford in England, a Bosch Public Policy Fellow through the American Academy in Berlin and the Aspen Institute Berlin, Germany, and a Wilton Park Conference Fellow in Poland. Likewise, she received five Professional Development Awards from New York University in 2006, 2010, 2012, 2016, and 2019 having also been honored as a Baha'i International Community United Nations Office Breakfast Dialogue Speaker in 2013.
Mazzucelli is recognized in the 2024 Top 100 Innovators and Entrepreneurs Magazine. She has been featured in numerous honors publications, including multiple editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Education, Who's Who in the East, Who's Who in the World, Who's Who of American Women, and Who's Who in Finance and Industry.
