Through his various positions, Dr. Sayegh has gained considerable knowledge of medicine, research, abdominal laparoscopic surgery and clinical laboratory sciences, as well as immunology, oncology, endocrinology, maternal screen, HLA histocompatibility, Flowcytometry and special chemistry.
In pursuit of his medical aspirations, Dr. Sayegh earned a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and biology from the University of Mobile, a Bachelor of Science in health sciences from the University of South Alabama, a second Bachelor of Science in medical technology from Anderson Memorial Hospital School of Medical Technology, a Master of Science in health sciences with emphasis on hematology/Oncology and a Doctor of Medicine from the American University School of Medicine in Coral Gables Florida, post-graduate training in general surgery with emphasis on emergency non-trauma minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery from the University of Southern California. Dr. Sayegh retains his professional alignment with the American Society for Clinical Pathology, the American Immunology Association, the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, the American Medical Association, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Association of Clinical Chemistry, the Clinical Laboratory Management Association, and Cambridge Who's Who among Professionals.
In light of his outstanding accomplishments, Dr. Sayegh won the St. Mary's Hospital Certificate of Excellence Award, the Medical Microbiology Certificate of Excellence Award, the Lorraine O'Hare Award for Dedication through Palladia Incorporated and a Top Doctor Award for Minimally Invasive Laparoscopic Abdominal Surgery in 2016 and 2017.
