After accumulating more than 30 years of professional expertise in psychology working throughout the northeast and other parts of the country, Dr. Haber-Jassenoff relocated to West Palm Beach, Florida. Leaving her career behind to help establish the Palm Beach Research Center, she played an instrumental role as the President and Chief Executive Officer for nearly a decade between 1995 and 2003. Presently, Dr. Haber-Jassenoff continues to play an active role with her son in the success of Palm Beach Research Center as the Chief Financial Officer. An independent research site, the Center conducts late-stage clinical research studies for pharmaceutical companies to ensure safety and effectiveness. Recently, the Center has been involved with Covid Vaccine studies including Moderna, Janssen, and Astra Zeneca.

Just prior to transitioning into clinical research, Dr. Haber-Jassenoff was the director of neuropsychology services at her own facility, A&W Psychology Services Inc. in Lakewood, New Jersey, where she focused her work on mild head injuries. She was also employed at the Garden State Rehabilitation Hospital in New Jersey as the director of psychology, clinical neuropsychologist and head of the trauma unit after three previous years as a staff psychologist. While employed at the hospital, Dr. Haber-Jassenoff was notably a part of the very first group to begin treatment for head injuries. Among other noteworthy roles, she was a research psychologist in the department of pediatrics and psychiatry at the University of California at Los Angeles and a private practice psychologist in New York City. During the earlier stages of her career, she also provided her expertise as an associate professor in the department of psychology at C.W. Post College in New York from 1964 to 1970.

Well regarded as a prolific writer and expert in her field, Dr. Haber-Jassenoff has authored and co-authored over 20 books, including the third edition of Fundamentals of Psychology in 1986, the eighth edition of "Fundamentals of Behavioral Statistics" in 1996, Business Statistics in 1982, the third edition of General Statistics in 1977, Psychology of Adjustment in 1984 and the second edition of "Fundamentals of Social Statistics" in 1990. She has also contributed chapters to books by other writers and articles in various peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Haber-Jassenoff has been fortunate to be aligned with several prominent professional organizations throughout her career. Among them, she was active as a member of the American Psychological Association, the Association of Clinical Research Professionals, the Drug Information Association, the National Academy of Neuropsychologists, the International Neuropsychological Society, and Mensa. An alumnus of Adelphi University, Dr. Haber-Jassenoff received a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in 1960 and a Doctor of Philosophy in 1963. She also completed postgraduate coursework at New York University from 1965 to 1968. Dr. Haber-Jassenoff is a board certified medical psychotherapist.

From 1961 to 1963, Dr. Haber-Jassenoff was the recipient of a U.S. Public Health Service Fellowship. She was later named to the Adelphi University Academy of Distinction in 1977. From 1984 to 1991 she was the recipient of the Psychologists Recognition Award. A celebrated Marquis listee, Dr. Haber-Jassenoff has been cited in the first edition of Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America.
